24 The Way of the Cross for Couples Stand Prayer God, you take away the sin of the world and draw your children from the deadly pit into which they have fallen. We give you thanks for you have asked no other sacrifice than the sacrifice of your Son, Jesus Christ, who came in your name to love his own who are in the world and to love them to the end. In his Gospel is written for us what you want us to do: not to separate what you have united but to love one another to the end, offering our lives as the great proof of our love. Grant us the grace to love one another as he has loved us. May your love and your truth always keep us in unity.
